What is an FRDOC file?

Document created and used by ABBYY FineReader, a program that uses OCR technology to convert images and other documents into searchable text documents; saves customizations that the user has made to any areas of the scanned .PDF file.

When you open a PDF file in FineReader, the application imports the contents into a new document instead of directly opening the PDF file. After processing the file you can choose to save the new document as and FRDOC file.
