What is a BSXP file?
A BSXP file is a configuration file used by BimSens, a database tool that enables read/write interactions with standard and custom data sources, such as SQL Server and Excel. It contains project configuration information saved in plain or encrypted XML. For example, BSXP files include source connection strings and data manipulations, such as pivot, calendar, and data import and export settings, and forms.
BimSens allows users to aggregate data sources and visualize the data in 3D models. Users can also perform read/write operations on connected data and search and filter data. When a user saves a BimSens project (File → Save Project), it is saved as a BSXP file.
NOTE: BSXP files are related to .BSXC files, which contain configuration information for a single project component.
How to open a BSXP file
You can open a BSXP file in Striped Horse BimSens (Windows). To do so, select File → Open Project from the program's menu bar. Then, navigate to and open your BSXP file.
