A TRTX file is a General Motors vehicle calibration file used by TRIFECTA Performance EZ Flash. Car enthusiasts can use EZ Flash to apply the settings a TRTX file contains to their General Motors vehicle, modifying the vehicle's default settings and performance. TRIFECTA Performance provides applicable TRTX files to customers when they purchase EZ Flash.

Because automobiles' settings and performance capabilities are now controlled by computers, car enthusiasts sometimes use various "flashing" software and calibration files to overwrite their cars' default settings. EZ Flash allows General Motors vehicle owners to overwrite their vehicles' default settings, using modified settings stored in TRTX files.
Each TRTX file is designed for use with a specific model of General Motors automobile (named in the file's filename). When a user purchases EZ Flash, TRIFECTA asks the user to specify the vehicle(s) with which they plan to use the program, as well as the vehicle settings they'd like to modify. Then, TRIFECTA provides the user with the appropriate TRTX files, which they can load, modify, and send to their vehicle via EZ Flash.

You can open a TRTX file, and use it to reprogram a General Motors vehicle, with TRIFECTA Performance EZ Flash. Note that each TRTX file is meant to be used with a specific model of General Motors automobile. Thus, if you plan to flash the settings a TRTX file contains to your vehicle, you will need the TRTX file that's meant for your vehicle.
To load a TRTX file in EZ Flash, click the TRIFECTA Performance logo that appears in the center of the program. Then, navigate to and open your TRTX file.
