Co je soubor TLX?
A TLX file is a configuration file used by an LG commercial television, also known as a Free-To-Guest (FTG) television. It controls what channels and settings options are available on the TV. Most often, users create TLX files by exporting them from an already-configured FTG TV, for use with other TVs of the same model.

Hotels, hospitals, and other businesses with publicly-accessible commercial LG TVs often configure those televisions to function in Free-To-Guest mode. FTG mode limits what channels and settings a user has access to, so they cannot use the TV in an unauthorized manner.
If a FTG TV user wants to transfer one TV's settings to another, they can do so by:
- Exporting the first TV's settings as a TLX file
- Installing the TLX file on another FTG TV
Each TLX file contains a list of channels a TV is allowed to access, as well as a list of settings that users are allowed to access. TLX files are model-specific, so a TLX file produced by one TV may not function correctly if used with a different model.
In addition to exporting and installing TLX files on LG commercial TVs, TV administrators can create, edit, and open TLX files in LG's free Free-To-Guest File Manager, which is available to download from LG.com.

You can open and edit a TLX file in LG Free-To-Guest File Manager (Windows). To do so:
- Open LG Free-To-Guest File Manager.
- Select the Open button that appears in the TLX File section.
- Navigate to and open your TLX file.
To install a TLX file on an LG FTG TV, first, ensure the TV is the same model as the TV that exported the TLX file. Then, place the TLX file on a USB drive, connect that USB drive to your FTG TV, and follow the instructions included with your TV to access the Learn from TV option.

TLX files are used by application spell checkers for validating documents. If they are distributed with a CLX dictionary file, they usually contain a shorter list than the CLX file.
