Co je soubor AXR?
An AXR file is a project file created by Elcomsoft Advanced Archive Password Recovery (AAPR). It contains a plain text record of a user's AAPR settings. In some cases, AXR files also contain a record of an in-process password recovery attempt, which can be used to resume that attempt.

AAPR is a utility that allows users to recover the passwords of password-protected .ZIP, .7Z, .RAR, .ARJ, .ACE, and .EXE archives. For example, if a user creates a password-protected ZIP file, and they later forget that file's password, they can use AAPR to retrieve the file's password from the file itself.
Optionally, a user can save their current AAPR project as an AXR file. Each AXR file contains:
- A reference to the archive from which a user is trying to recover a password
- The settings the user has specified in AAPR (such as the project's attack type and attack type-specific settings)
By default, AAPR also automatically creates an AXR file during the password recovery process. This file is stored in AAPR's installation directory, and it contains a record of the project's current progress (updated every five minutes). If a user is forced to cancel an in-progress password recovery process, they can use this auto-saved AXR file to resume the process from its last saved state.
