RWS files are saved in the following locations:

An RWS file is a game data file used by a game developed using Criterion Software's RenderWare engine. Typically, RWS files contain in-game music and/or sound effects. However, RWS files may contain other types of game data, such as 3D models, textures, or other game assets.

Because RWS files' contents vary, programs that can open some RWS files may not be able to open others. For example, while vgmstream can play audio stored in RWS files, it cannot extract or show 3D models stored in RWS files.

注: Some games use RenderWare Stream files saved with different file extensions. For example, Grand Theft Auto III includes RenderWare Stream files that use the .DFF and .TXD extensions. These extensions denote the specific type of game data the files contain.
