A REZ file is an asset archive used by a video game developed using the LithTech game engine. It contains meshes, textures, music, maps, and/or other game assets. Game modders often modify the assets REZ files contain to alter a game's gameplay.

LithTech is a 3D game development engine created by Monolith Productions. Monolith Productions and other video game development companies have used LithTech to create many popular first-person shooter games (and a handful of games in other genres).
The following Monolith Productions games, all developed using the LithTech engine, use REZ files:
- Aliens Versus Predator 2
- Blood II: The Chosen
- Condemned 2: Bloodshot

You can use Dragon UnPACKer (Windows) to extract the resources a REZ file contains. Additionally, some LithTech engine games include a program named lithrez.exe, which you can use to extract resources from a REZ file.

REZ files can be viewed and edited with EVNEW, a free Windows utility available on the Ambrosia website. Note that this utility requires Apple QuickTime to be installed.
