Q3D files can be published in a protected mode, which means that all embedded CGR files will be encoded and no longer can be opened or edited. This protects others from viewing proprietary 3D content.
A Q3D file published for the Web is packaged with the files index.html and createControl.js, which help the 3D program to load in a Web browser.
Q3D files can also be published in a stand-alone executable file.
