什么是 JEF 文件?
A JEF file is an embroidery file used by Janome and Elna embroidery machines. It contains stitching patterns and sewing instructions for creating embroideries. BALARAD Embird Studio also recognizes designs saved as JEF files.
更多信息
Janome produces many embroidery machines, including the MC300, MC350, MC9500, MC11000, MC12000, and MC15000. These and other modern Janome embroidery machines accept designs saved in the JEF format. Elna machines, also produced by Janome, also accept JEF format designs.
Each JEF file is a binary file that can be read by an embroidery machine, after you transfer the file to the machine. The file specifies the coordinates to move the hoop and instructions for every stitch in the design.
You can download some sample JEF files online. For example, Janome provides sample JEF files on its Inspire Embroidery webpage.
注: Older Janome embroidery machines use designs saved in the .SEW format.
如何打开 JEF 文件
To use a JEF file with your Janome or Elna embroidery machine, refer to your machine's documentation. Likely, you will have to transfer your file to a USB flash drive, plug the USB drive into your machine, and then navigate to and load your file.
You can also open a JEF file with Janome Artistic Digitizer (Windows) or BALARAD Embird Studio (Windows)
