A BA file is a saved game file created by Baba Is You, an interactive puzzle-solving game. It contains game progress data, such as time spent in the level, whether the player completed the level, and the number of bonuses. Game data organized in a BA file consists of multiple plain text headers followed by corresponding data.

Baba Is You is a puzzle-solving game where you can move obstacles to manipulate the game's rules and change how you can play each level. When choosing "play levels" in the game, you can select the save slot (three slots available) in which you would like to save your progress.
If you choose the first game slot, Baba Is You saves the game as 0ba.ba, the second slot is 1ba.ba, and the third slot is 2ba.ba. Older versions of Baba Is You may also save game data as a ba.ba file. Baba Is You saves BA files in the AppData\Roaming\Baba_Is_You directory.
