Cool Reader is an open source eBook Reader for Windows, OS X, Linux, and Android. The program was developed by Vadim Lopatin.
Cool Reader supports several eBook formats, such as EPUB, MOBI, FB2, and TCR. The program provides some basic tools to assist you when reading, which includes the ability to create bookmarks, search for specific text, and customize styles. Additional features are available in the Android version of Cool Reader like page flipping animation, day and night profiles, and dictionary support.
Cool Reader is a capable but vanilla application without many bells or whistles. While it does support some popular eBook formats, the program does not provide much else. If you are looking for an eReader that can read one of the aforementioned supported formats, Cool Reader works well, but don't expect much else.
