Pattern file used by Nintendo Wii games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart; contains texture patterns referenced by the game to create animations; often found within a .BRRES resource package file; similar to .MDL0 and .PLT0 files.

PAT0 files are referenced by the game to determine what your 3D model looks like with a looping animation. The PAT0 file communicates what .TEX0 texture files overlay your 3D model and the amount of frames per second you want the textures to appear on your model.
NOTA: The BrawlBox application enables you to open BRRES files and the contained PAT0 files, as well.
