A PKZ file is a Zip-compressed archive created by Cisco Packet Tracer, a network simulation and visualization tool. It stores one or more Packet Tracer activities (.PKA files) or models (.PKT files) that Packet Tracer users have compressed to share with other users or store as a backup.

UWAGA: When saving the PKZ file, Packet Tracer names it with the same name as the first file in the archive but appends the .pkz file extension to the end of it. For example, if you compress the example.pkt file and the sample.pka files (with the example.pkt file listed first) the resulting PKZ file will be example.pkt.pkz.

If you do not have access to Cisco Packet Tracer, you can also extract the contents of a PKZ file with a Zip decompression utility. To extract the contents of a PKZ file, change the .pkz file extension to .zip, then unzip the archive with a decompression utility, such as Windows File Explorer, Apple Archive Utility, or Corel WinZip.
