Wat is een WC3-bestand?
A WC3 file is a wonder card used by some 3rd generation Pokémon games, including Pokémon FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald. It contains a Mystery Gift a player can import into the game. Primarily, these gifts allow players to access additional game areas.

In Pokémon FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald, players can enable the Mystery Gift system by correctly filling out a questionnaire available at Poké Marts. Enabling the system allows the player to receive special Mystery Gifts at official Nintendo events. These Mystery Gifts are saved as WC3 files.
Enterprising Pokémon players have uploaded the WC3 files available for FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald to the Internet and created tools that allow players to inject these files into their saved games. This allows players to access the additional game areas and other bonus content WC3 files contain without attending a Nintendo event.

You can use the WC3 plug-in for PKHex (Windows) or Mystery Gift Tool (Windows) to inject a WC3 file into a Pokémon FireRed, LeafGreen, or Emerald saved game (typically saved as a .SAV file).
