Wat is een TVDB-bestand?
A TVDB file is a database file used by Apple TV. It is stored within TV Library, which is the file that contains your Apple TV library. TVDB files contain information about either your Apple TV settings or your Apple TV library.

You are most likely to encounter a TVDB file after right-clicking TV Library and selecting Show Package Contents. Each TV Library file contains the following three TVDB files:
- Application.tvbd: Stores Apple TV preferences and settings
- Library Preferences.tvdb: Stores library preferences and settings
- Library.tvdb: Stores information about each video in your Apple TV library
By default, TV Library is stored at Macintosh HD/Users/YourUserName/Movies/TV on Macs.

A TVDB file is a genealogy database created by Genealogy Supplies TreeView. It contains a record of a person's family tree, including names, birthdates, death dates, and relationships for each included person (if applicable). It may also include additional notes and details for each person.

TreeView is a genealogy program that allows a user to chart their (or someone else's) family tree. To do so, users can either import a tree saved in the GEDCOM .GED format or create a tree from scratch. When a user saves their tree in TreeView, regardless of whether they imported the tree or created it from scratch, it is saved as a TVDB file.
After opening a TVDB file in TreeView, users can view the data the file contains in many ways. For example, users can view the tree in a variety of formats, including a pedigree, family tree, hourglass, relationship, or fan format. Users can also add a background and photographs to their tree, before printing the tree (or a subset of the data it contains) as a physical chart.
OPMERKING: Users can also sync their TVDB files to their TreeView online account, to access the files over the Internet or in the TreeView mobile apps.

You can open a TVDB file with Genealogy Supplies TreeView (Windows, Mac). To do so, select File → Open. Then, navigate to and open your TVDB file.
