Version 8 of SketchUp was the first to support compressed RBZ plugin files. You can search and download SketchUp plugins from the "Extension Warehouse" online repository by selecting Window → Extension Warehouse.

You can only open RBZ files with Trimble SketchUp (multiplatform).
In the Windows version of SketchUp you can install RBZ plugin files by following these steps:
- Choose Window → Preferences.
- Select "Extensions."
- Click Install Extension and choose your RBZ file from the open dialog.
In the macOS (OS X) version of SketchUp you can install RBZ plugin files by following these steps:
- Select SketchUp → Preferences.
- Choose "Extensions."
- Click Install Extension and choose your RBZ file from the open dialog.
Since RBZ files are Zip-compressed packages, you can also open them with an archive utility, such as Windows File Explorer or Apple Archive Utility. You may need to rename the .rbz file extension to .zip for the compression utility to recognize it. After you extract its contents, you can access the RB scripts included in the package.
