A KWGT file is an Android widget created by KWGT Kustom Widget Maker, also known as Kustom. You can use Kustom to edit or install the widget a KWGT file contains. KWGT files are .ZIP archives that contain a .JSON file and a widget's assets.

KWGT Kustom Widget Maker is an Android app you can use to create custom widgets for your lock or launcher screen. For example, you can use Kustom to create a widget that shows the weather, date, and time and place that widget on your lock screen.
Each widget you create in Kustom is saved as a KWGT file. The JSON file a KWGT file contains describes a widget's construction and function. The asset files a KWGT file contains, such as .PNG images, are used to skin the widget.
Een KWGT-bestand openen
You can open a KWGT file with KWGT Kustom Widget Maker (Android). First, place the file in the following directory on your Android device:
~/storage/Kustom/widgets
Then, open KWGT Kustom Widget Maker and import your KWGT file.
If you want to view the assets and JSON file a KWGT file contains, rename the file to use the .zip extension and open it as you would any ZIP file.
