An FNFC file is a song chart used by Friday Night Funkin', a rhythm game similar to Dance Dance Revolution. It contains the properties of a playable song chart, which includes the song name and artist, stage, instruments, difficulty level, player and opponent character, and starting BPM (beats per minute). Users can create, open, and edit FNFC files with the Chart Editor (also known as "Debug Menu") included with Friday Night Funkin'.

Friday Night Funkin' is a music rhythm game in which players engage in rap battles against various opponents to prove their worth and emerge victorious. Each level provides different song challenges that players must complete to advance to the next level.
You can open a song's music chart in the Chart Editor when playing a song in Friday Night Funkin'. After opening the Chart Editor, you can modify the notes, instruments, and other metadata.

You can open FNFC files with the chart editor included with Friday Night Funkin'. To open an FNFC file:
- Select "Free Play" and choose a song.
- Type 7 or the key bound to the Chart Editor in the Friday Night Funkin' controls to open the Chart Editor.
- Select in the Chart Editor.
