If you have Foobar2000 installed on your computer, you can simply double-click the file and Foobar2000 will open the FB2K-COMPONENT file. You can also open the file with a Zip decompression program, such as Corel WinZip, WinRAR, or Apple Archive Utility. However, you have to rename the .fb2k-component file extension to .zip before opening the file.
To install a component in Foobar2000, select File → Preferences, click Components, select the component you want to install, and click Install....
