Wat is een FAL-bestand?
A FAL file is a header file for an .RGB (Q0) image. It contains plain text information that image viewers use to load the RGB file. For this reason, FAL files and their accompanying RGB files are typically stored together.

Some Japanese software programs create and use images saved in the Q0 format. Q0 images are 24-bit RGB images that, notably, do not contain any header information. Instead, each Q0's file header is saved in a separate FAL file. Typically, the FAL file and its accompanying Q0 or RGB file use the same base filename (e.g., example.rgb and example.fal).
Een FAL-bestand openen
FAL files are not meant to be manually opened by users. However, you can open a FAL file and view its contents with Microsoft Notepad, Apple TextEdit, or any other text editor.
To open the Q0 image with which a FAL file is paired, place both files in the same directory, and then open the image file with XnViewMP. XnViewMP will then use the header information the FAL file contains to open the Q0 image.
