An STBSP file is a game map used by Titanfall 2, Apex Legends, or another video game developed by Respawn Entertainment. It contains information about the map's layout, objects, and referenced assets. STBSP files are heavily modified versions of .BSP files.

Respawn Entertainment developed Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends using a modified version of the Valve Source game engine. This modified version saves game maps as STBSP files, rather than BSP files.
Despite the formats' shared origins, programs that can decompile BSP files cannot decompile STBSP files. As such, game modders cannot modify existing STBSP files or create their own.

STBSP files are not meant to be opened. There are no known programs that can open STBSP files, outside the Respawn Entertainment games in which they are used.
