ZSNES provides numerous save states from 0 to 99 (file extensions .ZS0, .ZS1, .ZS2, and so on).
NOTE: A ZSNES save state is not the same as an in-game save state. A game only allows players to save state when arriving at specific game milestones whereas ZSNES save states can be captured at any time during gameplay.
