An RW4 file is a 3D model file used in an Electronic Arts video game, such as Spore or SimCity (2013). It contains meshes, textures, lighting maps, and animations used to show a character or object in-game. RW4 files are found in .PACKAGE files.

Some Electronic Arts video games released in the late 2000s and early 2010s use the RenderWare 4 graphics engine to load and show graphics to players. 3D models used by the RenderWare 4 graphics engine are saved as RW4 files.
Most prominently, Spore and SimCity (2013) use the RenderWare 4 graphics engine. Modders of these games have created tools that allow them to open and examine RW4 files' contents.
