A WMDL file is a 3D model used in Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. It provides the geometry for a game level. Each level uses its own WMDL file.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is the 2014 entry in the Donkey Kong Country series. It was developed by Retro Studios and is available for the Wii U and Nintendo Switch (via a re-release in 2018).
The game stores levels' geometry in WMDL files. These files also contain the textures and materials used to skin a level.
