What is a VMIX file?
A VMIX file is a preset file created by StudioCoast vMix, a live production and streaming application. It contains settings for a video broadcast, which include imported videos, audio tracks, graphics, effects, titles, and transitions. VMIX files also store technical settings, such as display, video and audio output, and web controller settings.

vMix is a professional video broadcast application that allows you to stream videos to various platforms, such as YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter. The VMIX file type enables you to save your settings for a broadcast to preserve how your video appears and how it is delivered.
To create a VMIX file with vMix, select New, choose the video format, click OK, then select Save. After saving the VMIX file, you can close it, then re-open it at a later time for further editing, or to begin another broadcast.
