More Information

When you save your tax return in TurboTax Canada 2017, the TT17 file is created to save your progress. It is the main file type used by TurboTax Canada and is primarily utilized for three purposes:

  1. Saving a 2017 tax return to be electronically filed or printed to be mailed.
  2. Backing up a tax return in case of the loss or corruption of a tax return.
  3. Importing 2017 tax data into the 2018 version of TurboTax Canada.
