What is a TLA file?
A TLA file is an image used by Tune Styler, a Windows desktop customization program. It contains a custom Windows startup logo, which Tune Styler can use to override Windows' default startup logo.
Tune Styler was a utility that allowed users to customize various aesthetic aspects of Windows, including the appearance of its login screen, boot screen, and startup logo. It was originally developed by TuneUp Corporation and included in that company's TuneUp Utilities program.
Eventually, TuneUp Corporation was acquired by AVG Technologies, which was itself acquired by Avast. At some point, AVG removed Tune Styler, which had been renamed AVG Styler, from TuneUp Utilities, which had been renamed AVG PC TuneUp Unlimited.
How to open a TLA file
If you still have access to Tune Styler or AVG Styler, you can use it to open a TLA file and apply it as a custom Windows startup logo. If you do not have access to Tune Styler or AVG Styler, you likely will not be able to open your TLA file.
