What is an SDLRPX file?
An SDLRPX file is a package created by SDL Trados Studio, translation software used by businesses. It contains .SDLPROJ project files that have been completed by a team member or still need work. SDLRPX files do not store translation memory.
Trados Studio packages contain all the project files needed to be sent to a team member to begin working on a project. It allows team members to share all their project files in one file. Project packages are the primary package type used and they contain SDLPROJ projects that store files that need to be translated. These packages are saved as .SDLPPX files. SDLRPX return packages are used for sending back project packages where a specific task was completed or further work needs to be completed.
SDLRPX files are created using the "Create Return Package" wizard in SDL Trados Studio by selecting Create Return Package in the toolbar. You can also right-click files you want in the package and select Create Return Package.
SDLRPX files can be opened using the "Open Package" wizard in SDL Trados Studio by selecting File → Open Package. You can also click Open Package in the toolbar.
