What is a SAPK file?
An SAPK file is a custom application meant to be installed on one or more SICK industrial sensors. It was created using SICK AppSpace and likely downloaded using SICK AppPool.
SICK is an industrial sensor manufacturer. SICK's sensors inspect and categorize products that move throughout a factory or warehouse.
If a SICK customer wants to customize their sensors, they can do so by downloading and installing custom sensor applications from the SICK AppPool. These custom applications are saved as SAPK files.
SICK AppPool is available online, as part of SICK AppSpace. AppSpace is also the application developers use to create SAPK files.
How to open a SAPK file
You can use the SICK AppPool (Web) to install the custom application an SAPK file contains. SICK AppPool also allows you to download and install additional SAPK files.
