What is an RM2 file?
An RM2 file is a replay file created by Stellar Top Hat MultiMino 2: Polyform, a multiplayer block-stacking puzzle game inspired by Tetris. It stores a recording of a completed gameplay session, including player moves, timing, and game events. RM2 files do not contain video footage but instead log the sequence of actions taken during the game, which allows the game to recreate the replay.
More Information
When a user opens an RM2 file in MultiMino 2, they can watch past matches as if they were happening in real time. The replay file makes it helpful in reviewing strategies, studying opponents' gameplay, or sharing highlights with other players.
NOTE: Since RM2 files only contain gameplay data, they are generally small in size compared to video recordings.
How to open an RM2 file
You can open RM2 files with Stellar Top Hat MultiMino 2: Polyform. To do this, place the file in the game's replay directory (if required by the version you are using) or select it directly from the in-game replay menu. Once loaded, the game will play back the recorded match exactly as it happened.
