What is a PXICON file?
Icon image used by CandyBar, a program used for customizing icons in the Mac OS X environment; saves multiple images in a single file, each with different resolutions representing the standard icon sizes (i.e., 512x512, 256x256, 128x128, etc.).
Many different PXICON files are included with the CandyBar installation in the ~/Library/Application Support/CandyBar/Icons/ directory.
NOTE: "PX" stands for Pixadex, the software from The Iconfactory that was merged into the CandyBar application. Pixadex icons use the .PIXADEX extension.
