What is a PXF file?

A PXF file is a firmware file used by Pendix e-bikes. It contains an encrypted firmware update for a part of a Pendix e-bike, such as the electric motor or battery management system.

More Information

PXF files are made available by Pendix Support Service and are only supported by the Pendix Service Tool app for Android devices, which is not yet released. Although PXF files contain some information in UTF-8 text along with binary data, they should not be manually opened by a user. The information in the PXF file is intended for microprocessors in the Pendix e-bike system, which is transmitted to the Pendix e-bike system via Bluetooth from an Android device running the Pendix Service Tool app.
