What is a PSPTUBE file?
A PSPTUBE file contains a picture tube created by PaintShop Pro, an image editor for Windows. It stores one or more graphics that you can dispense onto a canvas. PSPTUBE files also include settings, such as the cell arrangement and placement of the graphics that make up the paint tube.
More Information
PaintShop Pro is a raster image editor that provides various tools for creating images and editing digital photos. For example, one of its tools, the picture tube, allows you to add a repeating series of images to an image, such as a trail of dragonflies in a forest or a pattern of seashells on a beach.
PaintShop Pro comes with pre-made picture tubes saved as PSPTUBE files in the following directory:
C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro [version]\Corel_10
Also, you can download more picture tube designs from Corel's website or create your own by selecting File → Export → Picture Tube.... You can also select the "Picture Tube Tool" in the toolbar, select the "Preset" icon, then click the "Save preset" option.
NOTE: For an image to be used as a picture tube, it must be 24-bit and only have one raster image with transparency.
How to open a PSPTUBE file
You can open a PSPTUBE file with Corel PaintShop Pro in Windows. You can select the "Picture Tube Tool" in the toolbar, select the "Preset" icon, and click the "File Locations" option. Then, click Add, navigate to the PSPTUBE file in the dialog, choose the PSPTUBE file, and click OK.
