What is a PROP file?
Build properties file used by Android devices; contains information about your device, such as the model, brand, and version, and how your phone behaves.
The PROP file is located in the "system" folder on your device. You can edit the file to alter your device's behavior, including its Internet speed, LCD density, battery usage, and performance.
The file can be edited by using a program, such as Root Explorer or File Viewer for Android to access the PROP file. You can then edit the file using a plain text editor, save the file, and reboot your device. The Build Prop Editor also enables you to edit, add, and view PROP files on your Android device.
