Player profile created and used by the mobile version of Terraria, a 2D sandbox construction action and adventure game; stores a player's game progress, which includes mana points, health, and appearance.
NOTE: The Windows version of Terraria uses the .PLR extension to save player data.

PLAYER files are primarily used by the Starbound game to load saved character information. However, they can also be opened by starcheat, a Starbound save editor. PLAYER files can also be opened and edited by SBSE and StarReader but the programs are no longer maintained.
