What is an OTRMAP file?
An OTRMAP file is an object data file used by the Team Run Level Editor. It stores the objects placed within a custom Team Run level, such as blocks, hazards, decorations, interactive elements, and other game objects. OTRMAP files work together with .TRMAP map files, which define the level layout, to create a complete playable custom level.
More Information
Team Run is a multiplayer platform game developed primarily by IamTagir for Android. In addition to completing the game's built-in levels, players can create and share their own levels using the built-in Level Editor (also called the Constructor). When a creator saves a custom level, the editor stores the terrain and object information in separate files, allowing the level's layout and interactive objects to be edited independently.
NOTE: Saved OTRMAP objects are stored in the following directory:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/ru.iamtagir.teamrun/files/myobject
How to open an OTRMAP file
You can open an OTRMAP file with Team Run (Android) to view and edit the objects it contains. Since OTRMAP files store only the object data for a level, you should open them with the corresponding TRMAP file. To do so:
- Open Team Run's level Constructor.
- Select EDIT.
- Select IMPORT.
- Use the Load window to navigate to and open the corresponding TRMAP file and its matching OTRMAP file.
- Select the imported level from the EDIT screen to view and edit the level's objects.
