What is an MSMPL_ALL file?

An MSMPL_ALL file is a backup file created by the Korg microSAMPLER keyboard and Korg microSAMPLER Editor/Librarian software. It contains a backup of one or more sound banks, which include samples, patterns, tempo and effects parameters for an instrument. MSMPL_ALL files are used to preserve the state of instruments on a microSAMPLER keyboard.

You can create and open MSMPL_ALL files using Korg microSAMPLER Editor/Librarian. To create an MSMPL_ALL file, select File → Control Bank Memory... and click Backup. To open an MSMPL_ALL file, select File → Control Bank Memory..., click the "Restore" tab, and select Restore.

The internal storage space in microSAMPLER keyboards can store up to 8 sound banks. MSMPL_ALL files can be used to save all 8 sound banks.
