What is an HWS file?
Saved game created by Hedgewars, a free turn-based game similar to the Worms series games, but with hedgehogs instead of worms; saves the progress in a map, including the health of each hedgehog, inventory items, and shots fired.

Hedgewars creates a saved game called "LastRound" by default. This saved game can be used to resume the last map that was played.
