What is an HBM file?
An HBM file is a custom map created for use with Hard Bullet, an action-adventure VR game. It contains a game map players can use after installing associated mods. Players often share HBM files online, so others can download and use them.
In Hard Bullet, players enact violent action scenes using a variety of weapons. Players can also control time and modify the game's physics to perform cool stunts.
Hard Bullet contains several default maps. However, players can also install and use custom maps, saved as HBM files. To do so, players must install the MelonLoader mod loader and two associated mods.
How to open an HBM file
You can open an HBM file in Hard Bullet (Windows). To do so:
- Install MelonLoader.
- Use MelonLoader to install the Hard Bullet Modding Framework (HBMF) and Custom Maps mods for Hard Bullet.
- Place your HBM file in Hard Bullet's UserData/CustomMaps directory.
The map your HBM file contains will then be selectable in-game.
