What is a GDG.AUTOSAVE file?
A GDG.AUTOSAVE file is an autosaved version of a .GDG project file used by GDevelop, an open source program used to create games without programming knowledge. It contains the same information as the GDG file but is created when the project is open in the application. The file is used to automatically save your project in case of a program crash or other unintended termination of the program.
The GDevelop application is designed for all types of users that want to create a 2D game without extensive programming knowledge. You can illustrate scenes, add and animate objects, and define events that determine the logic of your gameplay.
