What is a FUZ file?
A FUZ file is a compressed audio file used in Bethesda Softworks games. It contains an XWM audio file and .LIP lip sync file and is used to give voices to characters in the game.
The FUZ format combines lip sync data and xWMA audio (format similar to .WAV and based on the RIFF container format). It was introduced in Bethesda Softworks' The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and is also used in Fallout 4. You can use the Unfuzer program to create and extract FUZ files.
