What is a FIRST-RUN file?
A FIRST-RUN file is a text file created by the Windows version of Discord, a text, voice, and video chat program. Discord automatically creates a FIRST-RUN file the first time a user runs Discord. It uses this file to track the date and time at which a user first launched Discord.
More Information
Discord stores its FIRST-RUN file in the following directory:

The file is always named .first-run, and it always contains only the word true.
NOTE: The Canary and Public Test Build versions of Discord also create and use a FIRST-RUN file.
