What is an ESCOPY file?
Temporary file used by ES File Explorer File Manager, an application that helps users manage files on an Android device; stores information about a file, such as an .APK package file, on the device while it is being downloaded or copied.
ESCOPY files are used similarly to .CRDOWNLOAD files where the file functions as a placeholder in case the action (downloading or copying) is interrupted.
NOTE: The "escopy" extension appears as a compound extension. For example, if an APK package file with the name example.apk is being downloaded, the ESCOPY file extension would appear as example.apk.escopy.
