What is a DJA file?

A DJA file is a module created by Dundjinni, a discontinued program that creates fantasy maps that users can play as adventures. It contains module information, which includes a map and an adventure.

More Information

Dundjinni allows you to create maps by drawing walls and floors on a grid using various tools. You can use the maps to create an adventure by adding NPCs, objects, rooms, monsters, and treasure.

The DJA file is the main file type associated with Dundjinni, along with the DJC (contains characters), DJM (contains monsters), and DJX (contains art) files. You can create DJA files with Dundjinni by selecting File → Save or Save as.

NOTE: Dundjinni saves DJA files by default in the "Adventure" folder in the Dundjinni root folder.

How to open a DJA file

Since Dundjinni is discontinued, no program is available for opening DJA files. However, if you have access to an old version of Dundjinni, you can open a DJA file by selecting File → Open.
