What is a CVC file?
A CVC file is a video file created by the cVideo closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system. It stores video saved in the proprietary cVideo format that users can only play the media player included with the surveillance system. cVideo no longer develops the format since SYS Technologies acquired them in 2005.
Before being acquired by SYS Technologies, commercial customers, such as small business owners and warehouse managers, were the primary users of cVideo systems. Since the acquisition, the CVC format has become obscure due to the discontinuation of cVideo.
How to open a CVC file
You can only open a CVC file with the media player included with the cVideo surveillance system, which is no longer maintained.
