File created by ChessBase, a program used for replaying chess games; saves header information about played chess games; saved with several other files that together comprise the total database and must be copied with the other files in order for the database to function properly.

If you don't want to copy the CBH file and all corresponding files, you can bundle all of them together in a .CBV file using ChessBase or Fritz.
