What is a BRUSHVARIANT file?
A BRUSHVARIANT file contains settings that control what a brush looks like in Corel Painter, an app for creating digital artwork. It stores various settings, including the brush's stroke type, size, and opacity. Painter users export and import BRUSHVARIANT files with Painter to share or back up brush settings.
Paint includes various tools for creating artwork, including effects and brushes. A brush variant determines the brush's appearance making it more opaque, larger in size, etc.
You can export a BRUSHVARIANT file by selecting Brushes → Export → Brush. Then, you can name the file, choose the save location, and click Save.
How to open a BRUSHVARIANT file
You can open a BRUSHVARIANT file with Corel Painter. For example, to import a BRUSHVARIANT file, select Brushes → Import → Brush..., choose the brush, and click Open.
