What is an AVC file?
Update file used by Kaspersky Lab's Anti-Virus and Internet Security computer security software; stores antivirus definitions for the program; used for downloading protection information that keeps the software up-to-date.
AVC files are typically named with a three-letter prefix followed by three digits which stand for file update number (e.g., base001.avc, base002.avc, etc.).
