What is an ACID file?
An ACID file is a file encrypted by the ACiD algorithm. It stores a file that most likely contains confidential information such as financial, federal, commercial and personal data.
ACiD (A Covert Identity) is an application used to encrypt files with sensitive information. It can encrypt one file or an entire directory with an encryption key generated by a quantum random number generator. The program can be used to secure files on your computer or when sending files via email.
NOTE: AciD is discontinued and no longer available.
