An MDM file is a 3D model saved in a format used by the video game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. It contains a triangle mesh, UV map, and references to shaders. Unlike some other types of Wolfenstein 3D models, MDM files do not contain animation data.
Další informace
Released in 2003, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is an entry in the Wolfenstein series of first-person shooters. It was developed by Splash Damage and initially published by Activision. It is notable for being a free, online, multiplayer-only game, unlike other games in the Wolfenstein series.
Enemy Territory uses 3D models saved in the MDM format. Primarily, MDM files contain models used to show player characters and NPCs. They are similar to .MDS files, except they do not contain animation data. Instead, MDM files contain references to animations stored in .MDX files. This allowed Splash Damage to easily apply the same animations to multiple 3D models.
Jak otevřít soubor MDM
MDM files are not meant to be opened outside Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. However, Wolfenstein modders have created the RtCW:ET Blender Model Tools add-on to allow them to open MDM files (and other types of Wolfenstein 3D models) in Blender.
